U.S. Senate: Electing Senators

The Seventeenth Amendment needs to be repealed.

From 1789 to 1913, when the Seventeenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, senators were elected by state legislatures. Beginning with the 1914 general election, all U.S. senators have been chosen by direct popular election.

  1. I should have perhaps elaborated why it should be repealed. I’ll expand my argument at a later date. As for right now, I have coffee to drink and a day to plan.
